Had a lovely dinner here, with amazing food, upscale cocktails and a mellow dimly lite ambiance. Perfect for a romantic date or just grabbing a relaxed bite. The service was on pretty on point our server was very polite and friendly. The pizzas were simple but definitely elevated and made with the finest and freshest ingredients.
Pro Tip: ask them about there tiramasu 🤌🤌
Beautiful pizza and cocktails in a hip setting. I'd love to hear less music (and fax machine-esque ticket printer) and more of my conversation. Service was excellent. Only downside is there are no vegan options that I saw, and the few vegetarian options are very cheesy.
Also you will pay for the food here! $20 appetizers!
Great Italian in the heart of downtown SLO! Would 100% recommend going. The pizzas are delicious! And the bread is the pizza dough! Friendly service and great cocktails. Likely the best cocktails in town. They have a cute outdoor space in the back also!
Authentic pizza! Made to perfection. It deserves the awards and accolades it has received. It took me back to Naples! Was incredible. We will be back multiple times.
Been here a few times for meter Monday. You and hopefully a group of friends go here and order a meter long pizza with several different sections carved out for different kinds of pizza. They've got a decent selection of drinks. I'd say for me their drinks are 50-50 on whether I like them or not. But for the drinks I typically like they've always been a solid choice. I've always been treated kindly by the staff and I really like that at a restaurant.
I came here with a friend for dinner. There was a bit of a wait so we had a drink at the bar while we waited. Our table was ready quicker than expected and we were seated outside. So many different pizza options, however, I settled on the Pisellona Pizza. I was quite surprised that the quality of the pizza was very Italian and authentic. There is a wood burning oven which makes the pizza extra crispy and tasty. I’ll have to go back to try out the pastas if I can get past the pizzas.
Be careful after dark here -- the place is open to the weather and is kept freezing cold. Plainly all kinds of organizational issues -- I expect to wait an hour to be called, but then after being called, another 30 min before seating. Nearly an hour between ordering and receiving items. At one point, the place was half empty, but there was still a line outside -- go figure. Folks that work here try hard and are nice, but seem helpless. Love what they are trying here with the food, but dishes need work. Yeah, and a pizza place is an Italian place, and Italian places put bread on the table when you sit down, especially if there is another hour wait for the food. Unisex bathrooms -- be prepared to wait in line. Incredibly noisy also.
Flour House is a very loved restaurant in this area but needs a lot of work.
-Food is really tasty, not my favorite for Italian in the area though. (Always buy the bread)
-Wait staff is exceptionally awful whether you come here for a date night or a group of 8 (where full tip is included). Based on my last experience of coming with out of town visitors and our waiter being exceptionally rude, I will never dine at a table or bring visitors here again. It was a poor experience which sucked since the food is so tasty!
-However, the bartenders are great! I’ve sat at the bar a few times and not only are they friendly and professional but also highly skilled! Great honest team working at the bar
